Paul Hamilton joins our award-winning pallet recovery service as site manager for the main hub in Burton. He joins the 50-strong team to bolster the supervisory structure, building upon the robust management of the site to maximise the potential of the facilities to serve UK industry.
This is a key senior management appointment within the manufacturing division and will support the development of the recovery business whilst providing strong leadership to all site operations.
Paul has strong experience in both logistics and construction industries including management of the international transport for Mercedes GP Formula 1 team and managing the annual distribution of four million tonnes of aggregate from the East Midlands ‘super quarry’ at Bardon Hill.
He said: “Demand for the pallet recovery service is strong as sustainability continues to climb the agenda so the continued development and innovation of the service is critical. My main area of focus will be to develop the site structure to support expansion of the business model to partner sites.”

The national packaging recovery, repair and re-use service offers a unique sustainable pallet solution and recently featured in Barratt Development’s latest Sustainability Report as an example of a supply chain relationship that supports its business to operate responsibly and resource efficiently highlighting the collection and reuse of 2,667 tonnes of pallets from Barratt sites during 2017.
