As part of the re-organisation of our pallet businesses, we recently appointed a dedicated HR Business Partner for each of our regions. John Dean in the North, Louise Petrie in Scotland, Heather Ringrose-Hall in the West and Jasmine Bannon in the East.
Gavin Wallace, Regional Director – Manufacturing, Scotland, said: “From an operational perspective, it’s a revelation. With the help of the HR Business Partners, we have already developed a strategy for our recruitment, selection and induction processes, and will have this implemented by the end of the year.”
Next year we will be moving on to initiatives to improve staff retention with a greater focus of training and development for staff at all levels of the business.
