Scott Pallets’ Burntisland team were delighted to welcome Màiri McAllan MSP -Minister for Environment and Land Reform, Alan Hampson – Head of Policy and Practice at Scottish Forestry and Roland Stiven – Business Development Advisor at Scottish Forestry to our flagship pallet manufacturing in Fife.
The Minister was particularly keen to learn more about the UK Pallets & Packaging industry and its relationship with the forestry and sawmilling sectors. She was also pleased to see how well Scott Pallets’ commitment to pallet recovery, repair and reuse combined with sustainable raw material sourcing and intelligent pallet design fits with the Government’s own objectives to develop the circular economy.
The guests were given a detailed presentation and a full site tour which stimulated a wide-ranging discussion. They were escorted by Hassam Hernandez, David Fraser & John Dye
