Scott Group has invested £17,000 in 20 new Lifeline fully automatic defibrillators which have been installed at Scott Pallets and Scott Direct sites throughout the UK including our head office in Halbeath, Fife.
George Lawlor, Scott Group HSE Manager, said: “It is a recognised fact that the immediate use of a defibrillator along with CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) on a person who has suffered a sudden cardiac arrest greatly improves the person’s survival chances. This significant investment in the purchase of defibrillators is further evidence of our commitment to the safety and welfare of our staff and site visitors.”
Further to the purchase of this new equipment, we will be providing AED (Automated External Defibrillator) training to 65 first aiders across the Group.
