As we continually look for ways to improve our operational excellence, we have reorganised our pallet business into two core business units: Manufacturing (which will include our recovery and re-use service) and Reconditioned.
Each business unit will report to a dedicated Managing Director. Kevin McNeilly is already in place as Managing Director of our Reconditioned business, and we are actively recruiting for a Managing Director for Manufacturing.
Alan Gibson continues in his role as Managing Director of the combined pallet businesses at Group Board level.
Furthermore, each business unit is organised into four regions; Scotland, North, East, and West. The regional structure will be supported centrally by our technical, transport, quality, HSE, IT, and finance functions.
For our employees, the evolved structure opens up new opportunities and greater potential for career progression. To support the change, we will be making several new appointments and have already created a new HR Business Partner role which will be regionally aligned to focus on employee recruitment, retention and training and development.
